Hi,
Strange podcast, advertise as MP3 but stream is actually MP2

Here is correct link http://theamericanstory.libsyn.com/rss that works for MM also.

Usually when I find one that do not work I usually do a search and try other sites that offer Podcast RSS Feed link

eg for this one I used https://www.google.com/search?q=The+Ame ... r+Flannery and then copied subscribe link from https://www.listennotes.com/podcasts/th ... 9DwxOiS_W/

NOTE: I tested several other Podcast apps and liek MM all failed to load episodes.

I've had mixed luck with iTunes links (Apple podcast) - some have worked, some have not. Here's one that doesn't work - when I create the new podcast with this link, then update the podcast I see "updating podcast" in the status bar briefly, and then.... nothing.

https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/t ... pp=podcast

Any info appreciated. Thanks.

Hi,
MM should be able to handle iTunes links for podcasts.

If you can Copy past one of links taht do not work we can try to tell you how to manage to insert it in MM?

It's up to the publishers, RSS/XML is the industry standard. However publishers are choosing to use platform specific proprietary solutions, nothing MediaMonkey can do about this choice publishers are making.

new podcast - RSS/XML, or iTunes/Spotify/Google Play???

Hoping someone can educate me here... More and more when I go to subscribe to a new podcast in MM, the RSS or XML feed URL for the podcast are NOWHERE to be found. The iTunes/Spotify/Google links are everywhere, but if/when I do manage to find an RSS link it's usually through some 3rd party service not related to the publisher (e.g. SoundCloud). So what gives - this shouldn't be this difficult. Seems like RSS or XML is becoming less and less an accepted standard. Am I missing something? Or will MM catch up and add new options for recognizing a new podcast subscription?

Any info appreciated!
