I've got the exact same problem, video's won auto-sync when the music is set to manual sync. Is there a solution?[/quote]

Podcasts work fine but if I turn off automatic music syncronization then automatick video syncronization can not be turned on. iTunes suck ... Solution to this?

i don't have ipod video but a ipod photo and i have synched my photos with itunes and synch my music only with MM.
you have to make shure that itunes doesn't synch automatically to your ipod when it's connected.
you can set up that in the ipod options in itunes. there you can set up to manage your music manually. you can leave the photo, video and podcast sessions to synch automatically.
that shouldn't touch the music settings.

maybe this helps

Possible to sync using both iTunes and MediaMonkey?

Since MediaMonkey doesn't support (or does it?) podcasts and video, is it possible to use MediaMonkey to synchronize music and iTunes to synchronize videos and podcasts? I have an iPod video 30GB.
