I like almost all music, except for the "heavy heavy heavy metal" stuff.
Something I often listen to is electronic music (Trance, Dance, House, Lounge, Electronica, ...) but that's not on your list.
(Main) genres of my 4- and 5-star songs: Trance, Rock, Ambient, Ska, Pop, ...
These songs are the ones that are *top*. I can listen to them in any situation.
So I couldn't choose
When I'm in an "ambiance" mood: Disco, Eurodance, Folk, ...
When I'm in an "let's party" mood: Trance, Techno, Rave, Happy Hardcore, Dance, Eurodance, Euro-Techno, ...
When I'm in an "quiet" mood: Ambient, Melodic Trance, Lounge, Progressive Rock, Power Ballad, Acoustic, Easy Listening, Soft Rock, Slow Rock, Singer/Songwriter, New Age, Classical, Symphony, Acoustic Soul, Ballad; Vocal, Neo-Classical, ... (that doesn't mean I'm in a quiet mood most of the time; I just have a lot of that music, to have some variation).
I like 70-80-90's music ("classics") a lot: The Outfield, Spin Doctors, Ace Of Base, The Cars, Danny Wilson, ... (When speaking of the "normal" genres).
So it should be clear by now that choosing a music genre is very difficult for me.
