Build 5.0.1.2432 has fixed my sync issues. I tried the same library as before with a mix of Flac conversion and Mp3 copy and it completed without issue. Oddly your work around for build 2431, lowering the number of threads for auto-conversion(16 -> 6), did not help. I did find MM5 (2 hrs 35 min) to be slower than MM4 (2 hrs 10 min) with the same settings and device. Not a big deal as the big sync should only need to be done once.

just seeing your forum post:
After months of waiting... MMA syncing still fails with "Waiting for file to convert" after 55 of 1200 songs is complete. I've already sent several debug logs.
MMW: v5.0.1.2431
MMA: v1.4.4.0952
I just tried it and it just failed the same way as it has for months.
Where you sent the logs? AFAIK I've already fixed the issue as https://www.ventismedia.com/mantis/view.php?id=18064 , but supposing that it still does not work for you: Can you please generate full debug log of the WiFi sync (capturing to DbgView -- item 4b here: viewtopic.php?f=30&t=86643 ) and attach to eSupport ticket please?
I would love to fix your sync issues finally, but it seems endless process doing this via multiple forum threads, having you in single support ticket would speed up the things / communication and debugging a lot.

Please capture the Sync in a debug log (step 4b) and attach the log to a Support Ticket: viewtopic.php?f=30&t=86643

This will allow a developer to analyze why this occurs in your setup.

Sync on MMW5 also doesn't work for me, it will always hang after a random number of tracks. SD card is installed in the phone and formatted within android as separate storage and connected to PC with USB. I also tried with a USB thumb drive and it also hangs. I reinstalled MMW4 and the sync process works fine.

Hi,
Tested on 32GB SDcard and forced convert of 10k of tracks no issues. All files converted and synced to SDcard.

This one was another regression, but during USB sync (already fixed in 2422).

So could you please re-test with 2422 asap and generate a log in case you are still seeing an issue?

I'll try it tonight. I'm using 5.0.1.2431 now. I can 100% confirm that MM Android still fails to sync over WiFi (local LAN) to MMW. Still says "Waiting for file to convert..." after just 55 of 1200 songs to sync. This is aside to the SD sync problem.

Come on guys... that's like Microsoft always saying the reason Windows is crashing is because I also installed Microsoft Office. Of course I have a non-fake, good SD card. Everything else works fine on it. Your software doesn't.
