do you have the "delete tracks that aren't on the auto-synchronization list from the device" enabled?

When you start syncing it's best adviced to start with an empy iPod with the latest firmware (unless you can't). This normally prevents most problems.

why when i sync my ipod does it have duplicate entries for some of the songs & can i get rid of them? :oops:
