MM5 suffers in comparison to MM4 with regard to Reporting due to the current unavailability of add-ons.
A workaround is to export data to a CSV file, and then to generate reports using a tool like Excel.
There is a severe limitation to what can be achieved due to the paucity of data that is included in the CSV export file.
- no AlbumArtist tag, so the user is unable to properly produce a summary at the album level ... ie. without the albumartist tag, a single multi-artist composite album appears to be many albums, one for each artist
- no Composer tag ... so impossible to produce a Composer related report ... same thing with the Conductor tag
Can these columns be added to the CSV file, so that migrated Customers can regain some of the reporting that they lost when migrating to MM5?
[UPDATE]
