App crash: Manage Database | Backup

(I have opened a copy of this report as a ticket in order to upload a screenshot. Ticket is #3034: "App crash: Manage Database | Backup")

MM5 hangs:
Main window and Manage Database window lose the focus. No other MM5 related window opens.
File Explorer does not open, but there is an instantaneous flash of an MM5 tertiary window that sometimes appears.  It disappears so fast that nothing appears on the screen besides a flash of the window border.  It looks like it may have been trying to open a location picker but failed.

Any mouse click on the lost focus windows results in a Windows busy system alert tone.

App closure only possible via Task Manager or "Right-Click | Exit" on the tray icon.  MM5 application close immediately.  The tray icon only closes after about 30 seconds.  A running instance of MM5 remains as a "Background process" in Task Manager.

The hang occurs on following actions:
File | Manage Database | Click "Browse" button (Backup and Restore, Scheduled backup)

v5.0.2.2508
Windows: 10.0.19042 Build 19042
Local Drives:
C:\ MM5 application + User config, current backup location (I was trying to change the backup location)
D:\ Media files, database file
Network Drive:
NAS drive on same WiFi - Media files
