Hi,
Strange, we have found that MM5 supported more formats.

Can you open support ticket and supply us DL link for one file for analyze.

That may be down to differences in Auto-Conversion settings between the 2 MediaMonkey's.

Compare it to the MediaMonkey 4 settings. Also did you maybe have the MediaMonkey Codec Pack installed with MediaMonkey 4 and not with MediaMonkey 5?

Lastly try to stream an MP3 file and see if that actually works or not.
I installed a "Trial" codec pack (MM_Codec_Pack_Trial_3.0.6.mmip) and the DLNA client was able to play the video. However the playback was so choppy it was unwatchable. In MM4 I didn't have to install any additional codecs, everything just works out of the box. So I uninstalled MM5 and rolled back to MM4. It's unfortunate I had to go back to the previous version to get a functioning DLNA server.

DLNA Streaming Not Working

Version 5.02.2531

Started media sharing server to serve mp4 videos. All default Settings.

Trying to stream from ViMu Media App and VLC on Amazon FireTV. I am able to see the MediaMonkey DLNA server and browse the categories. When I try to start a video, the app displays a message "Unable to play the Media".

On the MediaMonkey server side, a dialog pops up "MediaMonkey is unable to decode this format" with Cancel and "Find Missing Codec" buttons

By the way, the exact same configuration on MediaMonkey 4 WORKS. What could be the problem?
