We saw the same, so at this point no further information is needed.

Hi, no newer episodes don't appear in MM at all.

If I can provide any more info let me know

Thanks

Do these newer episodes show for you in MediaMonkey?

Cant download new podcast episodes [#18848]

Think I may have found a bug, or at least a situation that MM doesn't handle correctly. Running 5.0.3.2607 for debug, 5.0.2.2532 release. I did do a search but didn't find anything.

RSS feed for the podcast: https://www.hotrodradio.com/rss/rss_1.xml

The last episode downloaded by MM was on 25th Aug 2021, episode 08-14-21 Hour 2 Part 2.

If you search the RSS the latest episodes were added on 7th Feb 2022. Note that the order of episodes being listed appears somewhat random.

I ran the latest debug version and checked the log, it would appear that because the RSS feed document is out of order MM has skipped parsing the whole file for new content, I found these log entries:
[17776] MM5 [4500](R) TIndyHTTP.GetResponseContent finished: URL: https://www.hotrodradio.com/rss/rss_1.xml, ResponseContent.Size: 140020, ResponseCode: 200
Assuming this means it was able to retireve the entire document ok.
[17776] MM5 [4500](R) UpdateEpisodes: Episode aready exists in database (02-20-21 Hour 2, Part 2), skip the orthers...
By coincidence the 02-20-21 episode is the first listed in the document. I already have that episode from a previous download.

Does MM expect newest first order for RSS feeds ? could this be changed to scan the entire document and pick up any episode with a publish date after the last update datetime?
Is there a workaround I could employ?
