Switching to another node and then back to "Playing" sometimes resolves the issue until I exit MediaMonkey and then launch it again. Other times it doesn't resolve the issue at all.

I've submitted a support ticket as requested.

I'm unable to reproduce on 2610. Does it continue after navigating to a different node and then back to Playing?

This will help a developer analyze why this happens in your setup.

It happens no matter which skin I choose.

Works correctly for me most of the time using 2610 and Material Design skin even in "Playing" node, both top to shift-bottom and bottom to shift-top.

Occasionally top to shift-bottom will not select the range. I have not been able to reproduce the expanded range your image shows.

Try another skin and see if it makes any difference???

It works correctly in the "Music" node. My expectation is that it would work correctly no matter which node I have selected.

You are in the "Playing" node. Try the same in the Music node.

I am using MediaMonkey 5.0.3.2610 on Windows 10.

I am seeing an issue while trying to select a subset of tracks in the "Playing" view. See the GIF below. I am able to consistently reproduce it by clicking on the track at the top of the wanted subset and then <SHIFT>-clicking on the track at the bottom. If I select the bottom track first and then the top track, it works correctly. My expectation is that it works correctly in both cases.
