Can you tell me what view allowed you inline edit if Summary column as I was not able to replicate in for example List by Album view?

If using the track summary column, it can be edited in-line without going into the Properties dialog box - however any changes are not saved.

For the avoidance of doubt the ability to edit this field should be removed, even if the changes (in my tests anyway) aren't saved.
