Just wanted to add that this would be great, so hoping it gets implemented. I especially would appreciate Involved People, Original Artist, and Custom tags, so I can avoid misspellings, etc.

We used to have a filtering/tagging drop-down for Grouping unless it was an old add-on I was using for a version prior to 5. Grouping should also be part of the menu as well. (it used to be)
I use it (or used to) for filtering sub-genres.
Example:
Genre: Blues
Grouping: Electric; Guitar; Memphis

Oops, I figured it out, it was "CustomFieldsTagger 1.0.3" by Steegy that I had been using on 4. This was a great addon and should be incorporated into 5.

No problem, it is better to track each one in separate thread than one big, as it will be easier to divide things over number of devs and people handling them. Also makes things faster when testing and debugging.

Would it be possible to have dropdowns for all of the relevant text fields in the file properties box?

Publisher for example - I am currently going through and tidying up, there are so many instances of things like Interscope vs Interscope Records, Infectious vs Infectious Media, blah blah. If Publisher had dropdowns like Album (I would argue that this one is actually fairly pointless!!) the library would be much neater.

Other fields that immediately come to mind that would benefit from this:
- Grouping!!!
- Involved people
- Original artist
- Original lyricist
- Copyright
- The Custom tag fields

PS. Aware I making loads of suggestions (and reporting bugs) at the moment. If it's akin to spamming let me know and I will save them all up for one big thread...
