Sorry for the late reply. This issue no longer seems to be occurring. In any case, I was switching by clicking on the nodes in the tree on the left side of the window.

I am unable to replicate, is this still happening to you?
How exactly you are making the "switch back"?

I'm using MediaMonkey 5.0.3.2627 on Windows 10 build 19041.

I've noticed that the sizes and positions of the columns in the "Music" node do not seem to persist properly when switching away from the "Music" node and back again.

Here's the way I had the columns arranged before switching away from the "Music" node:
