you were not imagining this.
The new version has enhanced the optional custom toolbar ... ie. it now may be hidden when not required, ie. space reclaimed.

I am running MediaMonkey 5.0.4.2682 Release Candidate 5.
I added two icons to the toolbox (Extras - Options - toolbox). They are not visible below the menu. Few versions earlier it worked.
