Hi,
That is something for dev that work on Chromium implementation can tell. I can't play Music on Amazon either :( but for me it it geo locked.

We confirmed the issues and escalated it so it should get more attention. Be ware that Chromium updates often initially break more than they fix (thus target 5.1), but will see. Finger crossed.

I would test it here, but I don't know how to play from Amazon, do you?
My version of MM5 seems hard coded to Youtube.

Current MM 5.0.4.2690 is based on Chromium 98 and we plan to update in next beta cycle.

Cheap shot. And a diversion from the real issue.
Amazon say that they support Chrome version 78 and later.
Chrome 78 was released in October of 2019
If that is true, the real question is why MediaMonkey would be bundling old 3rd party tools, with their bugs and security issues, and which cause breakage of MM5 usage?

Unfortunately it's baked into MediaMonkey so updating Chrome on your PC won't help. It's a shame Amazon is so restrictive in what they support.
