So it seems the issue is unrelated to synchronization since not only were the lyrics missing, but the associated controls as well.

I've tried replicating, but no luck yet. If it recurs, can you share a debug log ID?

I sync at least weekly, currently several times a week as I listen to and thus clear out my "never heard" playlist. It is possible I had not yet done a sync with 1067 when I saw that.

With MMA b1067 it is no longer showing the lyrics. The tab is completely black/blank and no option to lookup or edit. I have confirmed that the lyrics exist in MMW. Screenshot:
