MM 2024 build 3053 is RC and is stable for daily use.

Stable MM 2024 should be released very soon if you want to wait, but there is 800+ fixes in MM 2024 so you should consider.

No, it was minor update to add iOS17 support only (it just updates a plugin). However the fix has been in the MediaMonkey 5.1 betas for a while.

It's low quality when viewed as "List (by album)".

However, when you look at the Properties artwork tag, you can actually see the image is much sharper than other image views. Also, I did notice when in a grid view, after adjusting the image size, it does display in high quality.

Guessing I'll just have to live with it not in high def in the view I prefer.
