Guess that would be why it was "unplayable". And further evidence of it being a database issue.

Oh, further to this the track that failed initially now plays fine after at least one more sync since then.  I think this is another iteration of the issue I have reported a few times about needing to double-sync to get album art to show when adding new tracks.

Got another one. Mostly the same as last time, except this one the album art is not showing in MMA. Track plays fine in Samsung Music Player and shows the art. I am convinced this is a database issue on the phone.

Log ID 64ALFIQYER captured within a half minute of the toast message showing. Also replying to the support ticket.

The tracks I have noticed doing this are ones where I have recently replaced the album art and then synced.

I did say there was nothing wrong with the file as it plays everywhere else and must be a database issue.

Trying to force it now, it's playing.  This is also after three or four more syncs.

Hi,
I have no issues playing that track on three of my devices.

Can you send MMA LOG AS soon as track fail to play and post debug log ID here before you send it.

The file itself plays fine on the PC and with other media apps on the phone, so I don't think the file itself is the problem.

What File Type? MMA can only play what is natively supported by your device.

Currently b1091 but this pre-exits. I was just able to finally grab a log. YM2BJFCQZS

Periodically, for no apparent reason, MMA will skip a track with a toast message that the track is not playable. The same item does play just fine in MMW, and I can pull it up in the Samsung Music player and play the exact same file that MMA has. So it has to be a database issue, not a track-file issue. I can't even play the track manually in MMA.

Additionally to this, the few times I managed to catch this happening, it's been a track that I had recently edited meta-data on in MMW5. Specifically, replacing the album art. Since MediaMonkey has a penchant for replacing my album art with bad versions (I still think it's MMA doing this not MMW) I am systematically going through my collection in MMW and replacing album art proactively where needed rather than just as I see bad ones.
