Hi
Temporary edit problem FYI.
Upgraded to MM 2816 (non-debug) after CD read error. After commanding a search for "artist: the animals" (right hand search box) I found that the I could no longer do inline edit of the fields in the main pannel, my main means of library update. I could select the inline field and get a text location indicator (blinking vertical line) in the field but none of the keystrokes - letters or numbers - were shown in the field during or after edit. Same for usual fields (eg Title, Comment) and Custom Fields. I could enter data into the Properties panel so mouse, keyboard and DB were working OK.
Re-loaded MM 2813, same problem! MM 2813 was working properly before upgrade to 2813. Noticed during use of 2813 that the second tab I was doing edits in had text about looking for specific text string, which wasn't the "album:" search that I had originally requested.
Rebooted PC, opened MM 2813, cancelled the search tab, edit worked again. Re-loaded 2816 again, edit also worked normally.
I think that the edit problem was associated with the search message but I haven't been able to replicate it. Another search in the right hand box for "album: the animals" worked normally as did a search for just "the animals".
Cheers
Matt
