Media Monkey 5.0.5.2695 version and it is licensed to me Harry A Downs Jr.
When in Media Monkey ; as it was first time I changed the view of the main browser. I always left as a list as I went through folders or entire folder with multiple files listed. Sort of a multi-folder file list. I noticed I had a floating 3D view available to pick fro the down arrow on right side of middle panel. Now I was using the "Material Design" view choice. But it was same though the other two choices of metro design and Groove; where albums were floated on top of panel list.
Once I went into it it worked but I was only testing it's use as I believe I had downloaded the 3D flow add on - entitled "3d-album view 117.mimp". prior but never had used it. Now that I did review it 's use I went back to using the previous view of list only.
This is where an error was produced on the screen which seemed to be a JAVA error. "Runtime error 217 at 01944053"
I assume either this plug in was developed with an earlier version of JAVA. My current Runtime version is
Version 8 Update 411 Build 1.8.0_411-b09. It shows that it is latest build of the runtime JAVA code. I am also running latest build of Windows 10 pro 64 bit - 22H2, OS Build 190445.4529. I also have a NVIDIA GE Force 2060 2060 Super 8 with studio version drivers- 1st) GE Force experience 3.28.0.417, the studio drivers- ver 555.99.
Seems to be no way of either picking this panel view or there is an actual failure in the installation or incompatibility of it with my system.
Extra system info is I have a Gigabyte Aorus motherboard Gigabyte Technology Co. Ltd. AX370-Gaming K7 (AM4), then for CPU is AMD Ryzen 7 1800X, 64GB DDR4, 3 internal Seagate 4TB HDD's. Please let me know if there is a version fix or if this is anon workable adder to MM5 Gold.
Came back to tell you folks. I did download 5.0.5.2695 MM% Gold lifetime. But first I had uninstalled Media Monkey to make sure a clean install would occur. On quasi resolve found still to have issue on startup of the same java error above. It disappeared when I did uninstall the 3d album view add on. Any clues.
