Tested with NVidia GTX 1650 and GeForce RTX 3060, NVidia Overlay ON, and was not able to reproduce at all. There will be some other condition needed.
Can you please try last 560.81 version of drivers? And try to experiment with other settings, to find the problematic combination of settings?

Hi. Can you check if it's happening with other chromium based apps (Skype, Spotify etc.) ?

EDIT: i found out that GeForce app running on chromium same as MM (so maybe it's somehow conflicting internally ?)

It's the metrics (FPS, etc) meter that is shown over the top of any (DX?) application.
It can be enabled, but not displayed until you want to see the metrics, which is only for games.
When it's enabled (and not even displaying anything), it messes up mediamonkey.
This doesn't happen for any other app I use, including other media players.

It took me a while, but worked it out. I had to disable the NVIDIA overlay from the NVIDIA app.

Timeline:
3005: no issue
3033: no issue
installed NVIDIA app (never had it previously installed)
<did not run mediamonkey>
3036: issue
disabled NVIDIA overlay
3036: no issue!

Just to provide feedback, as I suspect many other gamers may possibly have the overlay turned on:
I was previously running 3005 & 3033 and this did not occur (because that was from before installing the NVIDIA app).
I do not have the 'Automatically manage color for apps' setting under settings.
I do not use Contrast Themes (it's set to none)

Wow--that is bizarre!

In addition to Lowlander's suggestions, can confirm:
1) What GPU / graphics card are you using?
2) Did this occur with earlier versions of MMW (I saw that it didn't occur a month ago, but how about with 5.0.x)?
3) Do you have Windows High Contrast Mode enabled (toggled on/off with SHIFT-LEFT + ALT-LEFT + PrtScrn)? I suspect it's related to this.

I've never seen that before. I recommend checking for video card driver updates, and trying the latest MediaMonkey 2024 beta.

just add a space before the .com to share an URL as a new user.

The app will change colors on it's own. Even when I am not focused on it or moving my mouse around on it.
This didn't happen on a previous beta build (from about a month ago).

That makes it kinda hard to share the example.
