I've read recently that Google are going to remove apps from both the Play store and devices, based on whether Google think they have a purpose they understand. For example, if Google think the app is not doing anything except residing on my phone, they will remove it.
How will this affect the Media Monkey Pro app, which is currently in deep sleep on my phone and is only used (as far as I'm aware) to unlock the MMA paid features upgrade?
My concern is brought about because of recent Google changes (with more to come): I already have one app on my phone that no longer works (it previously allowed Wi-Fi transfer of files from a memory key to the phone) and another app which has issues because of the way the app accesses the data file it uses.
A further question related to this: will Google's new policy prevent MMA from accessing music files on the additional SD card installed on my phone?
My phone is a Samsung Galaxy A55 5G, running Android 14.
Thank you in advance.
