I can confirm, that the message is gone on both devices. :D

fyi, as of build 1213, MM will no longer repeatedly prompt you on device restart if you've elected to skip the scan.

Thanks for the feedback!

Hi,
It is known issue due the fact that Device mount external storage after system bootup and Android report NEW STORAGE available.

We are working on a workaround, but it is much much better than before.

NOTE: It will be fixed, but it is to risky to temper with OS settings at this stage of MMA release.

when I first start the device, I still get the check/postpone dialogue, it's annoying. This is so on Orbsmart and Moto.

Thanks--further optimizations coming in build 1210.

I can confirm that it's still happening..but it only seems to happen for me the first time I open MMA each day.. I haven't seen it reappear later in the day.

Samsung S20, Android 13, MMA version 2.0.1.1208 build.

Description: scan bug still exists

hmm.... I'm no longer able to replicate this. Can you run MM, replicate the bug, and then submit a debug log (from the menu, click Help > Send logs) and share the log ID here?

Or did you already submit a log (on a Galaxy Tab A, running Android 10)?

Thanks!

It's not solved. Still in 1208 :o

This should be completely resolved in build 1208 which is currently rolling out to beta testers.

Log ID: 24SHBAR55B
Description: constant dialog appearing requesting to postpone or check for new media

still happening on build 1206 on an unlocked Samsung Galaxy Note 9.

Thanks!

So build 1206 fixed the continually appearing scan requests on a single screen. Build 1207 (currently rolling out) improves the situation further--clicking 'postpone' should cause the dialog not to appear again.

Can you confirm?
