I'm getting a variation of this bug. If I have "Playing" view open when I close MediaMonkey, then on next launch the columns are changed to Title, Artist, Length and they are narrow. Happens every time.

I created a ticket for this with more info, a debug log attached, and a video of the bug linked:

I've been running the MM debug version with DebugView running, and never managed to reproduce. With the normal version it happened every few start-ups, so perhaps it's timing related. I also have a suspicion that it happens when there are multiple open tabs (say one for Music, one for Films, one for TV) and one tab inherits the column configuration from another tab.

Submitted a ticket with debug log, hopefully this gets resolved.

I'm unable to reproduce. Added a column, restarted MediaMonkey and the added column was present, removing it was also remembered.

This will help a developer analyze why this happens on your setup.

Playing node

Are you referring to the Playing node or the Playing window?

I have the same issue with columns on the currently playing, after MMW restart they are back default. Used to remeber the columns and positions, this started with version 2024.0.0.3082 and I haven't made any changes elsewhere.

Are you making changes to columns elsewhere too?

I add some columns to a playlist, I remove some, then the next day when I open MMW the column layout is back to the default one. This used to work in v4.
