This afternoon I installed RC3, curious what changes were for the better regarding the cue file(s) and what stills needs to be done. Here is my feedback after testing:
1) At first:
- when using the internal player and having added the single Flac file with cue file to the library all seems weel, files playing correct, highlighted files are files being played and album art is showing correctly. Though*:
* when having used the Eversolo and Denon streamers and returning / switching from DLNU/UPnP to internal player the playlist started over with track 1, where track 5 e.g. was last played on my streamers (seems like return / reset of playlist perhaps?)
** when switching from internal player to streamer (Eversolo) the next track is being played (so track 5 internal player leads to track 6 on streamer, whereas in version 5 track 5 started over again instead of skipping to track 6)
2) Secondly when using the Eversolo and Deno both streamers click / show everytime a new file starts from within the playlist (as mentioned earlier from within the library) they "feel" every track as a new input and this is not present when playing a "normal" album (without cue, and containing multiple files). As well do they not show the album art when track 2 starts, and track 1 is finished (with album art showing). Only when I point in Properties that the cover may be used for all files within the cue file only then the streamers show album art for all files.
Again this is not present when playing a "normal" album. This is when using the cue fil within the library.
Skipping back and forward is working normally within the internal player, also setting the track to e.g. 3/4 works fine.
But when using the streamers and doing the same (setting file to 3/4) the next track starts playing, skipping back and forward plays correct file(s), bur streamers click as mentioned earlier.
3) Thirdly I tried dragging and dropping a cue file from my internal harddisk to the playlist again (using a different cue file / album this time to prevent that a cue file was causing the problem). Playlist fills with tracks, album art shows and playing started on the Eversolo. Screen Playing Now is used. When skipping forward the screen shows track 2, 3 etc but track 1 starts over and over again. Putting the bar on 3/4 or 1/4 works, but still track 1 is the only one playing (whereas track 3 is mentioned above the playbar and track 4 stands ready in Coming Up next to the album art. Double clicking track 3 e.g. in the playlist to force track 3 to play does not work. Skipping back does the same. Pausing works, and track continues playing normally.
When letting play track 1 to the end track 2 starts, but both on the streamer and on the Mediamonkey Playing Now screen track 1 shows, so e.g. Simon & Garfunkel - Sounds of Silence plays but Simon & Garfunkel - Wednesday Morning 3. A.M. shows. Also highlighted in the playlist track 1 shows. And not track 2,3 etc.
I hope this helps? Looking forward to your replies.
