I confirm: it works. Thanks for the prompt response and quick solution.

It's fixed in RC-3. Can you confirm that it works for you once RC-3 is available (should be today or Friday)?

Thanks!

Thanks for the report!

I'm able to replicate this. Tracking at https://www.ventismedia.com/mantis/view.php?id=21521

Can you please try again with the latest 2024.1 build?

I repeat that, regardless of memory usage, after 3104 the automatic search does not work

Is Artwork lookup not working at all, or only up to a point when MediaMonkey uses too much memory? You've inidcated both things.

The team is aware of high memory usage, unfortunately for now you'll need to restart MediaMonkey. Feel free to capture your high memory usage in a debug log (step 4b) and attach it to a Support Ticket: viewtopic.php?t=86643 However it's likely an issue in Chromium's memory handling instead of MediaMonkey.

After this defect I would like to point out that the search for covers normally progresses, sometimes it forgets to save some, but when the memory exceeds 2 Gbit the program crashes, it stops working, sometimes it gives different errors and it is necessary to restart it forcibly. Despite the restart a MediomonkeyEngine.exe file remains running in addition to others. I have been subscribed to the fact that the error message always appears on mediamonkeyengine.exe and the request to restart every time the program starts for a long time. I would like to point out that I have a database of about 400,000 mp3s.

Exactly. I have search enabled and from version 3104 onwards all the others do not work

So, you're using List by Album and have the option to lookup Artwork enabled (you verified this?)? If so, 3108 doesn't auto-lookup Artwork at all?

Re: cover search

I agree and I do exactly as you say. The thing is that with later versions it doesn't do it anymore

Re: cover search

As mentioned, the node those not auto-search. You need to switch to a View showing Artwork and have auto-lookup enabled to have Artwork automatically looked up.

Yes, it is exactly in the files to edit Unknown Artwork with Album view that it searches automatically. If you switch to list view it does not do it anymore. Before it worked perfectly, now it does not anymore

Are you referring to Files to Edit > Unknown Artwork? If so, I presume you're using the List by Album View?

That node won't do auto-lookup, it's the metadata lookup setting in combination with a View showing Artwork that will.

Among other things, when the search works, if the memory exceeds 2 or 3 Gbit, the program stops and you have to restart it. The covers to search are about 150,000

When you view by album in the Cover not inserted section, the program automatically searches for the covers of the analyzed files. Since version .3104 this no longer happens and I have not changed my configuration
