So basically, I've never really cared to rate my music in any media player, I find it to be a bit tedious and usually makes the interface look messier. As far as I know, there's no way to completely remove the 5 star icons under each album in MediaMonkey but setting the album's rating as "Unknown" is the next best thing as it makes the stars nearly invisible.
However, I've noticed that a few of my albums that I've added in the last month have their rating set as the "0 Stars" rating (The difference being the stars are slightly more opaque, enough that it's noticeable)
Image here (the top 6 albums have the issue, the bottom 6 do not, showing both sets to provide contrast):

Now the problem I'm running into is that I will right click and set all of their ratings to "Unknown" and it will achieve the desired effect, but when I close MediaMonkey and re-open it they reset themselves back to "0 Stars".
Is this a glitch within the player itself or with the files, perhaps? I usually use mp3tag to tag my files, but there doesn't seem to be a way to add or check a rating tag to the files in the program. Also, right clicking the mp3s in windows shows them as having 0 stars, the same as other files that don't have this issue.
Any ideas?
