Hi,

Make sure that <MediaMonkey Portable Install Folder>\Portable\MediaMonkey.ini contains these two lines before you start it.

Code: Select all

[Portable]
IsPortable=1

it doesn't happen with a clean, portable installation of 3153.

The only addon I have installed is the"SQL Editor".
Removing the addon made no difference
OK, as it doesn't happen with Portable install, could you please try whether it happens when you copy these files from the location for standard install:

%APPDATA%\MediaMonkey5\MM5.DB
%APPDATA%\MediaMonkey5\MediaMonkey.ini
%APPDATA%\MediaMonkey5\persistent.json

into the portable installation:

<MediaMonkey Portable Install Folder>\Portable\MM5.DB
<MediaMonkey Portable Install Folder>\Portable\MediaMonkey.ini
<MediaMonkey Portable Install Folder>\Portable\persistent.json

?

And is this with default install without an third party addons installed?
Could you please try to intall latest build 3153 to separated folder and as portable install and try wheher the issue persists then?

Hi,
here is a video with version 3151 where I:
  1. Select the second version of Draggin' The Line'
  2. Shift-Del (permanently delete it from the computer
  3. Wait for the list to update
  4. Use the down arrow. It jumps to the third "Crimson and Clover"

Hi George,
I can't replicate the issue here with build 3113, would you mind to create and share a screencast video demonstrating the issue?

Thanks!

I'm working on cleaning up my collection.
My "Duplicate Titles/Artists" node has 2281 tracks listed.

When I delete (shift-del) the second track of pair of duplicate tracks, MM5 thinks for a while (the working animation would be nice here)
and then makes the next track the selected track.

If I now using the up or down arrow keys the track selected is not the one it should be.
With the up key, the current track doesn't change.
With the down key, the second track below the current one is selected.

George
