Sorry for the late reply, first of all.
1. Is it something that a skin creator can customize? As in having a sort of macro command, that when you click e.g. the album title in the player it will retreive tracks from the same album? If I can do it in the preview pane, why not in the player pane as well?
2. Absolutely, this is what I've been doing sort of mechanically but there's always space for error I suppose.
3. I'd say what I find weird in that case is that menus sort of stack on top of each other, and when you hover outside of them you have to do the process over again. That's a matter of preference I suppose, not that it doesn't function as expected or anything like that.
