I think Bluetooth quality may be related to settings on the Android Phone. I recommend enabling Developer Mode on your device and playing with the HD Audio enable and the "Turn off A2DP hardware offload" button. Also, you may be able to change the Bluetooth Audio Codec between AAC, SBC, and Qualcomm aptX. That last option is only on high end devices. If HD audio is disabled, I believe the only Codec option will be SBC.
FYI, I have a Samsung S23+ running Android 15 and Bose QC II earbuds
