FYI that "Punk goes 90's" is compilation so I would Select all tracks from Album -> Properties -> Album Artist: Various Artists -> OK

At what point does the View get changed back? On the next search, after navigating elsewhere and a search, or after a MediaMonkey restart and a search?

Looks like you set [url=https://www.mediamonkey.com/wiki/WebHelp:Filelisting#Changing_Views]View[/url] to Browser and you probably seek the List View.

When I perform a search, I keep getting some album icons in the top left of the main panel. How do I make them go away so they necver show when performing a search. Running 2024.2.0.3162 on a Win10 box with all updates.
