Thanks for reporting, I logged off my OneDrive account, ogged in again and I am now getting the same error,
to be fixed as https://www.ventismedia.com/mantis/view.php?id=21905

This issue is new to the version 2024.2 , works fine with 2024.1
So workaround is to log in using previous version 2024.1

Connecting to OneDrive to create new library [#21905]

Hello,

I have removed all prior versions of MM and newly downloaded and installed MM 2024.2.0.3184. I have a Gold lifetime membership.

My intent with doing the system removal and a fresh install is to be able to create my library using my music which is now all on OneDrive.

I am getting an error from Microsoft when I go to Storage and Services and Select OneDrive. (I have Windows 10 Ver 22H2)

I am in an updated Firefox and I get the following error:

"We're unable to complete your request"

"invalid_request: The provided value for the input parameter 'redirect_uri' is not valid. The expected value is a URI which matches a redirect URI registered for this client application."

This message appears to have a live.com URL (login.live.com/oauth20_authorize.srf?scope=wl.offline_access%20onedrive.readwrite&redirect_uri=http://127.0.0.1:9465/MM/auth/&response ... db82947872)

I have had a Firefox tab open where I have OneDrive logged in already. I shared the file where my music resides "to myself" already. I have disabled extensions for UBlock Origins and Malewarebytes, cleared the Firefox cache, re-started Firefox and logged into my OneDrive and I still get the quote above.

I have seen in the forums here some people saying something similar happens even in Edge; I have had Edge open and OneDrive logged in but whenever I select OneDrive in MM, it goes to the Firefox browser.

(As I was writing this, I just changed my default browser to Edge to see if that was it. Cleared my cache in both Firefox and Edge and closed them. I only opened Edge, logged into my cloud OneDrive and the same error message appears in the Edge Window.

Am I missing something? Thank you for any help.

Kimberley
