I always use EAC for ripping - if for nothing else than the CRC check while using Burst Mode.

If I need to gather information from Gracenote, then I use the very small, free "Player" by James Chapman (see http://www.vuplayer.com/) to grab the CD info instead.

This allows me to then very quickly export the info to CDplayer.ini and load it into EAC (Database / get CD info from / cdplayer.ini). This was very handy when I ripped over 500 CD's in a 3 week period.

Click Here for a list of apps that support Gracenote, some of which are rippers.

OT: CD ripper with Gracenote support?

Hello

I use Ease CD-DA extractor to rip my CDs and the program use FreeDb to get information about the content of CDs. MM also use FreeDb when downloading information. However, the Gracenote database contains more information than FreeDb.

Question: Do you know about one or more CD rippers that supports the Gracenote database? This application should support OGG and/or FLAC.

Thank you,
Joran (Norway)
