Unfortunately no, I sometimes use a plugin for Total Commander to create M3U's but I've rarely had a need to edit them. A quick google should result in a few choices.

thanks but i use mm's auto-playlist feature to create the playlists and some of them have thousand of files, so that's not even an option

pah68, do you know any M3U playlist that can handle auto-playlists generated by MM? btw, i have been using the Excel work-around but i wanted a way to do it the easy way

Find a M3U playlist creator that creates them the way you like.
Another option could be to edit an M3U in Excel, sort the columns and delete en mass all the EXTINF rows.

Is there a way to create a playlist w/o the EXTINF lines? Or to batch remove those line in a playlist? I want to create a playlist in one drive and change the paths so I can use it with a different drive. The problem is that I don't know how to get rid of the EXTINF lines.

I keep all my music in an external hard drive and I use MM to organize it and maintain it. But I also use an mp3 player where I keep [b]some [/b]of my music. Both hard-drives have the same relative paths, but since the external hard-drive has more capacity, I only use MM with it and keep both drives synched. Of course, i exclude many folders before synching because the mp3 player has less capacity than the ext. hard drive.
