No, they use separate databases.

Yes, thank you Lowlander. That was it REGEXP.
I see that this won't work on MM 5. Yuck. But you say that MM4 is still on my machine. Does both MM4 and MM5 use the same database so that if I used REGEXP in MM4 the changes would show up in MM5?

You probably used an Addon, maybe Regexp. Note that MediaMonkey 4 is still installed alongside MediaMonkey 5.

I've been running version 4 for a long time. I was just prompted and advised to update my version to 5. I did so, and now the massive list of little utility routines that were loaded on my version 4 is gone. I'm not a power user so I don't even know what this is called, but it was a long list of hundreds of small routines that would move around text, or add or subtract text, etc. Where is this hiding, since it doesn't show up at all in the new version 5 that is now on my computer?
