MM is set up to do all of the heavy lifting library functions that you mention in Windows, and then sync the results to MMA. Replicating all of that functionality on Android is probably on the developer's wishlist, but I can only imagine that it will stay in the background until the current Windows updates are well settled in.

First let me say, I love Media Monkey. But i use a android tablet for everything and the lack of tags and the ability to sort is driving me insane in the membrain. We need tags for track and disc in music as well as a way to update all the cover art of an album at one time insted of having to listen to the whole album. We also need tv series tags in video, movies work fine but TV Series needs tags like series, season, episode, ect. Right now the tags are all the same for music and video. I can get part way there with what is there but....its not optimal.
