Just a thought and off topic here somewhat, but I'm sure there are a lot of things MM2024 does like this that I for one am not aware of and I suspect I'm not the only one. Could you & Lowlander (or other developers) possibly start a 'Tip of the Week' post or somethng for things like this?

It can be a variety of things including scanning, analyzing volume, sync and tagging. The statusbar in MediaMonkey doesn't indicate the process?
