Yes, you can copy any lame.dll to Songs-DB folder. However, I cannot guarantee that it will run correctly, because anyone can build lame and it can happen that the build you find is somehow modified. In any case, you can do nothing wrong if you test it...

Currently, the case of artists or albums can only be changed by clicking on them and changing it in their properties dialog. I hope to improve it in the future.

It is great to hear about another Gold version owner, thanks for support! :)

thank you Jiri. Is it possible to update the lame dll by just copying a newer version into the program directory?

Another question / possible bug: when I change one of the ID3 tags via the properties dialogue to the same contents but from all caps to first character caps the ID3 tag is not updated / written to the file.

Example: changing MARIAH CAREY to Mariah Carey results in MARIAH CAREY.

Thanks again for the great app, I registered it yesterday.

You can get the same results as --alt-presets does by changing quality selection in MP3 configuration dialog (standard, extreme, insane, ...).

Hi there,

does anyone know wich version of the lame encoder is used in Songs-DB and what are the equivalents of the alt-presets of Lame in Songs-DB?

Thanks,
Heinz
