Check your output plugin (Options-Player-Output Plugins) and deselect "Remove silence at beginning/end of track"

In recordings I make, I intentionally make silences on the end of a track: in classical music silences are very important, isn't it ... The MP3's played in MM the silences are disregarded. Crossfading (Play) is off. What option do I have to use that causes to 'play' the silences. Any idea? (In VLC the silences are regarded, so it is not a problem with the MP3's.)
