I wouldn't expect content that is synced to MMW (Auto-Sync to Library) to be auto-added to Auto-Sync to Device.

If I create a playlist in MMA, and then sync, the playlist automatically appears in MMW's playlists. However, it is not automatically selected for sync, so changes to that list, on MMW or on MMA side, do not get updated on subsequent syncs.
