This error happens just during scanning? DSN is always checked during Songs-DB startup and if there is a problem it is reported to user.

You can try reinstall MS Jet components (available on MDAC download page).

You can also check in ODBC Administrator if the DSN "SongsDB" was created or not.

ODBC Driver Manager Problems in Windows XP

by Dave M » Mon Jul 29, 2002 7:00 pm

Could somebody please help me. I am trying to scan my drives but getting the following error below. I am running Windows XP professional and install of 1.2. Any ideas how to fix this problem?

There was a problem quering database IM002:[Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Data source name not found and no default driver specified.

I installed MDAC 2.7 but still no luck.

thanks,

Dave
