I've read that I'm not the only one who's phone isn't recognized in iTunes, and that iTunes isn't used for music anymore? Supposedly Apple Music program is the new iTunes.

I don't know. I would think I couldn't connect to MM at all if that were the case.

I installed 2024.1.0.3108 RC-1 and my phone still keeps disappearing every once in awhile in MM. When I first plug my phone in, it shows up in MM, but after about 30 seconds, it disappears. MM recognizes my phone, but when I click Send to iPhone, MM says it's copying to iPhone, but the icon just sits there spinning forever. I'm using MM 2024.0.0.3082, and iTunes is 12.13.5.3

Thank you. Why did my op post twice? I moved the songs from the old HDD to the new one, by copying and pasting them through Windows. Does that matter as far as the suggestions you made?

Is there a way I can sync a thumb drive, so that each artist has a folder, and in the artist folder, are each album from that artist?

You don't need to create separate library, just change the hierarchy of your files/folders. You can do that easily via Tools > Auto-organize. Just make sure you know what you're doing before you make any changes! But won't that screw up my current library? Like I said, it will just change the ...
