Yes, this looks like it's fixed - I can't replicate in RC5

Re: Access rights error when ripping CD
I can confirm this! You can close the page by pressing esc though. It only happens when the last time you were in the Options you were not in the "Player" settings. I can always replicate: - Go into Options. If "Player" is selected choose "General", press "OK" and open Options again. - Click "Playe...

Re: Access rights error when ripping CD
Just tested and that all seems to work OK. At step 6 MM correctly recreates the '1' folder and rips tracks to it.

"Loading..." node in Options [#17497]
I'm going through all my options settings just to make sure everything is configured OK and I noticed under Options>Library>Collections & Views that I have a node titled "Loading...": https://i.ibb.co/kXqQGJj/Untitled.jpg It always stays on Loading... even after a shutdown and reboot and the option ...

Re: Access rights error when ripping CD
Yep, RC 4 latest portable build. I've been able to replicate it several times now but at random. It only happens for me on Options>Player and when it does the whole app window goes dark and looks like it's frozen. By chance I noticed the keyboard still worked and you could tab through to cancel. I'v...

Re: Access rights error when ripping CD
Scratch that, I found I could use keyboard tab to move through options until I got to cancel. Seems OK again now. Weird!

Re: Access rights error when ripping CD
Not related but now I'm going through my settings in Options just to check everything is configured correctly and every time I click on the 'Player' section in Options the window goes dark and freezes and I have to force quit. All other sections in Options are OK except Player. Guess this would requ...

Re: Access rights error when ripping CD
My apologies, it looks like user error! My mask and rip settings were set as follows by default in the Destination field when ripping a CD: E:\My Library\Music\<Album Artist>\<Album>\<Track #:2> <Title> I haven't manually changed it in MM5 and just left it as whatever was imported from MM4. But comp...

Re: Access rights error when ripping CD
Think I found what causes it and it seems to be because of what I put above about importing audiobooks. If I just rip a CD as a regular music collection it works fine. But if I first select all the CD tracks and edit their properties to Type:[Audiobook] before ripping then I get the access rights er...

Re: Access rights error when ripping CD
Sure, I'll try and do that when I get a spare minute. Also I noticed that the confirmation dialogue box seems to have a small bug just before ripping starts. In the CD properties before I started the rip I set the [Type] option to 'Audiobook' for all the files (I'm ripping a story CD for my daughter...

Re: Access rights error when ripping CD
No I'm still getting the same error but different path:
"Cannot delete C:\MediaMonkey 5\Portable\Temp\B13C.wav Access is denied. The file may be in use or you may not have access rights."

Re: Access rights error when ripping CD
OK, that may be it then. My Temp folder settings are:
\Users\Simon\AppData\Local\Temp\
I never set that manually so maybe it copied the location from my old MM4 settings during MM5 installation?

Access rights error when ripping CD
I'm using MM5 to rip a CD for the first time and after it rips each track I'm getting the following error: "Cannot delete C:\Users\AppData\Local\Temp\A548.wav. Access is denied. The file may be in use or you may not have access rights" I'm running a portable install to bypass all the problems with U...

Re: Incorrect album groupings when sorting in 'List (by album)' view [#17452]
Just in case it helps here's another example: 1) Set view to List (By Album) 2) Enable Column Filter 3) Run a search for 'desire' 4) Change sort to Rating (descending) 5) Results show other artists mixed in to wrong album https://i.ibb.co/C2qmXF9/Created-with-GIMP.jpg If you change the sort to Ratin...
