I'm wondering about this too. The sync process to the iPod goes smoothly, but I can't seem to make playlists containing only media already synced to the pod.
Any ideas?

Basic track-editing
I would love to see some basic editing options, maybe as an advanced tab when converting audio format or something. I'm thinking of stuff like volume/amplify, fade (in/out), crop/cut, etc. This may be beyond the scope of the program, but I don't think it will mess things up if included in a sub ...

The latest changes you posted worked like a charm! For some reason I had to add the SDB variable to the contruction list to avoid error messages. All though I can't understand why it suddenly needed to be constructed, it now works great! Thank you once again :) Edit: the problem with the C:\ disc ...

What are the nodenames (very basic question)
Hi. I found a line of code somewhere that hides a certain node from the filetree within MediaMonkey. And that worked great, but I was hoping to hide the "net radio" node too, but haven't been able to figure out it's correct name. So I'm wondering how I can see which nodenames I have to pick between ...

Hello again, and happy new year I might add :-) I'm still having problems with browsing my way through "My Computer" after a bit of reading and trial & error. I've tried pretty much every name combo I can think of now, with no luck. I've also tried to "escape" the backslash with another (and two ...

Hi rusty, and thanks for your reply. I have tried this approach before, but the thing is that I do not want to keep my library on the computer and the one on the iPod in synch. The iPod in question is an iPod Mini with 6gb storage capacity. If I create a playlist on my machine then, and sync it over ...

I haven't had much luck with playlists on my iPod Mini from within MediaMonkey either. However, the problem you are describing sounds a lot like a problem I had once. I think it occurred after I installed iTunes 6, so if this does not apply to you, you might want to skip it. But you can't really do ...

Hi Steegy, and thank you for your reply. The script you showed me did exactly what I need, but I ran into a problem :-) The command for expanding the playlists node worked great, but I could not figure out how to browse my way down one of my harddrives. I've attached a screenshot of the file browser ...

Expanding certain nodes in the filebrowser at startup
I was wondering if there was a way to expand some of the nodes in the file tree at startup. For instance, I would like to have c:\somefolder\important_folder visible whenever MediaMonkey starts up. They way things are set up now, I have to manually browse to this location for each session. This also ...

Manually creating iPod playlists
I can't seem to create playlists on my iPod manually, using MM. What I want to do is to create a playlist, or autoplaylist, on the device. In this playlist I want to put songs that are allready on the iPod. This can be done easily via iTunes, but for some reason it doesn't seem to be that easy with ...
