Re: Magic Nodes 4.2 w/ 380 masks & real GUI (2011-07-01)[MM2

Of course, happy to donate for ongoing maintenance of such complicated development. From this meandering thread it is difficult to tell what improvements have been made to the current version over the one freely available.

Ordering of tracks when used with DLNA service

I've set up a magic node to define the hierarchy for DLNA clients (the main use is my stereo receiver). However, the track list that is served is ordered in an apparently random fashion instead of by track number. I suspect it is actually by the Songs.id primary key, which is common behavior for ...

Re: Alternative to Auto-Conversion for DLNA server?

Just to close the loop on this discussion, I was able to get this working exactly as you kind folks advised. First, it turns out that auto-conversion depends on the client being able to play the media as it is being created , in other words you need to use a streaming-compatible format. MP3 and AAC ...

Re: Alternative to Auto-Conversion for DLNA server?

Interesting about the configuration proposal for DLNA media types - My situation is a little different. Getting a smidge off-topic, but one reason why maintaining a "DLNA-friendly" copy is desirable is to remove tags so as to cater to the browsing deficiencies of the client (in this case a Yamaha ...

Alternative to Auto-Conversion for DLNA server?

I've got a spiffy new home receiver that has the ability to browse and play from a DLNA server. I also have my library organized with MediaMonkey Gold (of course). The catch is all of my music is kept in a lossless format that isn't compatible with the DLNA client. No problem, that appears to be ...

Re: MediaMonkey iTunes plugin (d_itunes4.dll)

Not sure if I should be adding to this monolithic topic, or even if this is still an actively-maintained plugin. However, it's been working for me right up until recently. Quite likely triggered by the update to iTunes 11.0.4, although I'm pretty sure that an earlier iTunes 11 release was ok ...
