Re: Old version MediaMonkey has no folder in AppData --> Roa
Maybe you set a custom location? I must have, as I found it in the regular Music folder buried among all of my Artist folders. I didn't look there before since the file path for MM2 said to go to Documents then to a Music folder there. But the suggestion above led me to it. As for updating you may ...

Re: Old version MediaMonkey has no folder in AppData --> Roa
Did you try searching for it as a "general" Win search. Don't look in a specific area, just type Mediamonkey.mdb in the Win search field. Or, even just .mdb (with show hidden files enabled, of course). Of course, it is that simple. Thanks for pointing me in that direction. Feel like I should have ...

Re: Old version MediaMonkey has no folder in AppData --> Roa
Yeah I originally did that but the folder just isn't there. I unhid files 2 different ways and followed the path as is says. Over the years I've copied the database several times on my current PC that was W8 and now is W10, in particular when I did the upgrade and clean install of W10. I looked at ...

Old version MediaMonkey has no folder in AppData --> Roaming
I will try to truncate this story and I did a search of the forum and browsed the first 8 pages of topics and didn't find anything exactly like this. I have an old computer that has MediaMonkey 2.5 that I set up and turned on for the first time in over 3 years. I wanted to backup that database ...

DRM Protected Content process
Does MM use the "DRM Protected Content" process automatically?
I don't have any DRM content on my device.
This process is eating battery like a sugar addict in Willy Wonka's factory. I'm trying to pinpoint which app is using it.

[BUG] Playlist deleted [#11298]
Just spent some time putting together a playlist that ended up being 331 tracks. Went straight to Playlists and looked with Airdroid to verify it was all good. It was. I then went to do another task in Astro and then went back to MM and the playlist is gone. Double checked with Airdroid and yes the ...

Removing from MM only?
In the Windows version you can choose to remove from library only or remove from library and delete from computer. It seems there is only 1 delete in MM8 and it removes from both. The fact that when installing MM8 and opening it and it auto scans the music folder has created an insane mess. I have ...

Re: MM8 pulled from store?
Yeah that, plus the lower right corner. Should of have caught that. Just got W8 and still learning the new stuff.
And yeah, it shows up now in the top free category. I swear when I looked before it wasn't there and then after this thread there it was.

Re: MM8 pulled from store?
That's odd.
Even when I go to the Windows 8 website for apps it won't come up in a search.
Side note: Do they really not have a search function within the Store app?

MM8 pulled from store?
I went to open MM8 and was told it was not available (on my machine) and it doesn't seem to be available in the Store anymore.

Just checked and no, the stock player doesn't recognize them either.

Re: Build 113 - Existing Playlists
I thought it would auto scan as well.
The playlists created with the stock player show up (these were recognized at the original startup of MMA) but not the ones done with PowerAmp.

Build 113 - Existing Playlists
I did a search of this forum about this topic and I haven't found anything. Forgive me if I'm simply missing it. According to the update of Build 113 it says it can scan for existing playlists. I've went through the options and didn't find anything about scanning for playlists. I have quite a few ...
