I'm considering getting a samsung galaxy smartwatch but it runs on the Tizen OS instead of Wear OS.

Do smartwatches with this operating system work with MMA? I'd like to be able to pause, play, etc. from my smartwatch like with Wear OS smartwatches.

It happens all the time on my galaxy note 8, too.

It's distracting so I turned the mediamonkey icon notification off, but I still don't want Mediamonkey wasting my phone's data or resources with a seemingly pointless recurring task.

What's the explanation for this feature?

Wear OS just had an update that brought back Mediamonkey's old functionality. The problem is fixed now.

If you're using a router, did you configure it to give your android phone full privileges?
