File\Add/Rescan
I check off the root directory of my music. Check off "lookup missing information..."
I have also selected to save info to tag (if possible) AND to folder.
How can I force a full relookup of the artwork if rescanning isn't the trick?

Re: Where's the Album Art stored
OK. I found that setting. However, when I rescan, it stops at every folder (how can it just do the entire library) and doesn't drop the album.jpg in the folder. I've done this a few times and then checked. When it asks for confirmation I can see the artwork but after I confirm the album.jpg is not ...

Where's the Album Art stored
Where does MM5 keep the Album Art? Used to be a folder.jpg, now I guess it's some meta-data.
Is there a way to get the album art placed in the folder so that other apps can benefit from the album art?

Re: During Synchronization, always recopies
Yes, the USB drive is not reliably identified as a device. Sometime it show up, sometime it doesn't. Adding as a folder was reliable. However, I reliably get MM5 to freeze when doing a full sync. I can repeat it and send another log file (I sent one as requested as before). Also, if I select a ...

Re: During Synchronization, always recopies
I am synching to a local folder (actually a USB drive but it doesn't reliably show up as a Device but does show up reliably as a folder). In Configuration, I have selected the drive and folder (destination) In Auto-Sync(-->Device) I select the source folders. I have also selected "Delete other files ...

Re: During Synchronization, always recopies
And, I see that even though I checked the box to have items not on the source deleted from device (destination), no such deletion occurs. The destination folder has files that are not on the source.

During Synchronization, always recopies [#16558]
I've noticed that there have been issues synchronizing to a folder (haven't tried a device on MM5 yet). If I try to synchronize my entire library to a folder of ample size, I have found the app to put up one or two black dialog boxes that can't be read nor clicked on and synchronization freezes. I ...

Re: Samsung Galaxy S6 not recognized by MMW
All fixed now. For whatever reason, windows file explorer "saw" the phone but not the directories. I left it connected and eventually, all the directories showed up and then the phone showed up on MMW. All works well now. Thanks

Re: Samsung Galaxy S6 not recognized by MMW
I did go to Portable Device Sync. All the devices are enabled(checked). There are 4 plugin types. WMDM.dll, ipod.dll, iriverh.dll and iPhone.dll. There are more devices listed than unique plugins, most use the WMDM.dll, I guess these are devices that use the same plugin. I don't see MTP.

Re: Samsung Galaxy S6 not recognized by MMW
Version 4.1.8.1751
It doesn't show up on the media tree at all. Shows up in Window's file explorer when connected with USB. Connected as MTP? It doesn't look like MMW sees it at all

Samsung Galaxy S6 not recognized by MMW
When I connect my S6 to my computer and open up MMW, it is not picked up as a device. It does show up in Window's file explorer but not on the media tree of MMW. My other devices (USB drives) show up just fine. Not my phone. Is it possible?

Distortion created with Equalizer
Has anyone noticed distortion introduced when using the Equalizer? I don't remember this at all with 4.1.6. But it's really noticeable with 4.1.7. Goes away with the Eq off. And, I'm not pushing any of the particular ranges that hard nor the overall db boost.

I turned off Media Sharing and though my testing has been brief, the problem is either significantly improved or resolved.

Re: A busy MMW sometimes "skips" during playback
Tried that too. Going to copy library to a SSD, it's now on a RAID 0, to see if that fixes things.

Re: A busy MMW sometimes "skips" during playback
So I'm still having this annoying problem with skipping. When a skip occurs, I can move back 15 seconds, replay the exact place where the skip occurred and it will play fine. I don't think it's the file itself, rather it must be some issue in reading, buffering... I have really tried to make sure ...
