Don't know whether service was installed. Doesn't show up in Services control panel even though Mediamonkey is running OK today. Does show when it is under apps. It's intermittant. Sometimes everything is fine. Other times I need to go into task manager and end task. When I run it again it is fine.

When I run Mediamonkey 2024 it appears in task manager but not visible on the screen! Have to end task all mediamonkey applications that are in the list then re-run the application. Happens regularly after fresh boot.

Just had a pop up just now (MM5 running): "Application throw an exception assertion failure (D:\Delphi\MediaMonkeyClean502\HTML5Monkey\BaseShared.pas, line 5607)". Media monkey installed on C:\Program Files (x86)\MediaMonkey\

When putting the mouse over the tray icon the progress of the song was displayed in version 4. Has been lost in version 5!

Clicking on the icon does nothing. MM came up with exception error. Clicked restart but it never restarted. Nor will MM start when clicking on the icon!
Update: Went into task manager: there were 4 background services related to media monkey - stopped them. Now MM starts.

too many problems including: Windows can not find unins000.exe! Triying to go back to version 4.

Installed medimonkey 5 a few hours ago. Already, at least a dozen times mediamonkey has stopped playing. Onluy clossing the app and reopening it allows playing. Didn't occur in version 4! Looks like 5 is a downgrade.

Since upgrading to version 5 there is no progress bar of how far through the song is on the pop-up that appears when you put the mouse over medaimonkey in the task bar.

I can position the player controller anywhere on the screen other than the bottom of the Mediamonkey program (the original position)! If I do then the player controller is not usable - It is cut off by the title/artist/album window!

can not change password: Tried your link and it appeared that the change took. However, I still have to login with the password that Mediamonkey generated!

Is there a way for mediaamonkey to add music file to library when it is played? I've checked settings - library where there does not appear to be an option for this.
