Re: Getting Started/Discord RPC Plugin
So, I finally revisited this, and discovered a Node app called Browserify that seems to do just about everything I would have needed, except that the method I need to use to actually broadcast RPC changes uses a module that isn't available through Browserify (Node's net module). I'm in contact with ...

Re: Running Multiple Instances of MM5
I'm trying to get the old Rich Presence API for Discord to run as a script inside MM instead of the external C# utility I have right now. I'm almost there, just having an issue with websocket translation between Node and browser (using Browserify).

Running Multiple Instances of MM5
So I'm trying to debug a script, and I don't want to have to reload my main run of MM5 constantly, especially since there are going to be crashes and I want to listen to my music while I'm doing this. I have two separate folders of the same version of MM5, and was wondering if it was possible to all...

Re: Now playing for Discord
Well, there are already several requests to make a NodeJS binding to the Game SDK, so we'll see if anything comes of that before the request to put anything else into MM (though even with that, integrating it with MM would be difficult).

Re: Now playing for Discord
Oh, man, do I love necroing a thread, but there's really no point to creating a new one just to report on this. After some time, I looked into this again, and it looks like the Rich Presence API was deprecated in favor of the Game SDK Activity functionality (which means it's likely to be even more d...

Equalizer Doesn't Affect Audio Until New Track [#16461]
I recently got a new audio device, and this device doesn't allow Windows to control the EQ, so I had to delve into the Equalizer in MM5 for the first time. I noticed, every time I change a slider, something happens in the main window in the background, implying that settings are being updated in rea...

BPM Field Edit Not Getting Initial "Select All"
I didn't want to resurrect the old topic , so I'm making a new one. Whether it's a reversion or was never fixed, I recently updated to the latest beta build, and this is still happening. What is happening: https://i.imgur.com/5u3al90.gifv What should be happening: https://i.imgur.com/MjwqnQq.gifv Th...

Re: Crash on Windows Restart/Shutdown [#15538]
I didn't think I needed another confirmation that my installation was portable (I firmly remember checking the option for portable installation on install), but I went ahead and did it anyway, and yes, it is a portable installation.

Re: Crash on Windows Restart/Shutdown [#15538]
Yes, because I installed over my portable installation with the new installer in portable mode. It did reset my UI to a certain extent when I removed it.

Re: Crash on Windows Restart/Shutdown
Still did it, and, for the record, a new persistent.json was never written.

Re: Volume lowers while notification despite "Supress notification sounds" is checked [#15261]
Just wanted to update that, as of a couple of weeks ago, this is no longer an issue. Whenever MMA is playing something, I get no interruptions to my music. It's very nice. Thanks for fixing.

Re: Crash on Windows Restart/Shutdown
Just updated to 2161, still happening. I even tried a fresh, non-portable installation, and the crash still happened, but Windows was somehow able to automatically close it down, unlike with the portable installations.

Still happens in 2146.
